About Our Project

For our project we are germinating and growing a broccoli plant.  The purpose of this project is to find what the best conditions are for growing broccoli.  We tested two variables: color of light and type of water.  We chose to test these two variables because we were curious to see if a certain light caused a certain liquid to make the broccoli grow faster. The broccoli seed sprouted as a small green sprout and grew to a tall, skinny light green plant. Now, we hope to see it grow into a larger broccoli plant in our school garden.
